The Grand Tour tests the curves of the Terramar racetrack

A few months ago, The Grand Tour, the popular Amazon Prime program presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, dropped by the Autòdrom Terramar next to Barcelona.

On an idyllic late-September morning in the seaside village of Garraf, birds were singing under a blazing sun as the tramontane wind blew almost imperceptibly along the Catalan coast. As one approached the track, however, the rustling turned into a roar as the faraway murmur revealed itself to be the engine of an Aston Martin rolling at breakneck speed, driven by none other than Jeremy Clarkson.

The British automobile journalist and his Grand Tour co-hosts were taking advantage of a visit to Spain to experience the challenging, steeply-sloped track of the Autòdrom Terramar. And they were definitely not disappointed…
